The Fallen

“Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went in to the daughters of men, who bore children to them. These were the heroes that were of old, warriors of renown." Genesis 6:1-4. Stories the occult, demons, angles, and spiritual warfare permeate the culture today. A strong attraction to these dark forces exists, but no film has ever portrayed these powers and principalities from a true Biblical perspective: Until Now!

The Fallen will take from the Biblical and noncanonical traditions of the stories of the Fallen Angels and present an R rated (Passion of the Christ style) classic “Horror” genre film, which is not blasphemous or unwatchable due to silly “Hollywood” portrayals of these forces. Dark, scary, and definitely something real and not to be entertained will be the theme of the film. To literally “Scare the Hell out of the audience by revealing the most wicked, murderous, and malevolent nature of these entities and the effects they have on the lives of the characters in the film.

The film is intended to be cast and focused on the same general format as The Founders with the same ending intent to have the film serve as a pilot to launch a TV series for SyFy (or other such network). It too will use the flashback 25/75 formula, but be inverse with 25% in the ancient world/Spiritual realm, and 75% contemporaneous to today. “As were the days of Noah, so shall be the days of the coming of the Son of Man” Matt 24:37, Luke 17:26.

The film will set the tone and stage for the TV series which will deviate from the specific characters in the films (who all die) and introduce new, various, and recurring, plots and characters while using the contemporary wickedness and evil so readily and easily identifiable in the world’s daily events to undertake and explore the true powers and principalities behind the headlines. The film will be darker and rated “R” for the themes and violence, whereas the TV series will be “TV-14” with slightly less shocking content.

The TV will follow a hybrid “Mystery/Cop/Reality” style formula; introducing new characters and plots which span two or more episodes for each story arc. Multiple endings will be filmed, but only one ending released for broadcast. This ending will be determined by callers/voters reality TV style. The shot but unreleased endings will be available for specials, DVD, or on-line web content during the off season.
